Wendy Wu was kind enough to send me some pictures of Van Ness rocking some of our gear during a recent show. I met Wendy through Hosanna Wong during a recent music video shoot, and  135 other mutual friends here in LA. Very cool people. Get ready for his new video featuring a very cool MTV ABDC Crew.

For those that don’t know, Van is very big star in Taiwan. He’s worked with many other artists in Asia, and acts as well.

Also, what’s really cool is that Van is also a blogger on HYPEBEAST, the acclaimed fashion and culture blog. You can check it out here.

Thanks again Van for rocking our “I HEART MY NINJA!” VISCOSE TANK

This is the epitome of our inspiration for our new upcoming line. Love the gritty VHS TV taping. Takes me back.

This past weekend was pretty amazing. I haven’t been to NYC since the last FM Tour with Epik High last year. This time, we played at Webster Hall for ISA NYC 2010. Everytime I step out onto the streets of NY, I can feel the hustle. So they say we’re too relaxed in LA. That may be a little bit true, but with so many people on a little island, you would be a little more encouraged to get yours.

Quest Crew Killed it for the packed house. These guys are always amazing. Props to Victor Kim for coming out to our “Endless Summer” Party with Shoeture 2 days before. Let’s work on that song.

David Giribaldi is amazing. His live performance art pieces are not to be reckoned with.

David Choi has fans. Enough said.

It’s always good to see Jennifer Chung. She always puts a nice smile on everyone’s faces. So young and talented.

THEN OUT OF NOWHERE!!!! Ted from Wongfu Productions Proposes to his girlfriend… WOW!

Kev Jumba backstage at ISA. Talk about fans. He could’ve stage-dived and crowd surf’d for days.

FM doing press and interviews before the show. These guys are not just paving the way, they are grooming these young artists with opportunities to perform across the country. It’s always such a pleasure to play for these guys. The headlined the night, and killed it!!!

10) Like last year, we’re going to put up Nintendo Games on the big wall. Who knows, we might just break out the Sega Genesis. Sonic the Hedgehog anyone?

9) This year, we’re teaming up with Shoeture to bring you the freshest party of the Summer. They have lace-locks on check. Click here for more info.

8 ) After showing at the MAGIC/ S.L.A.T.E. show last week in Vegas, we have some of our samples left that we will be selling. This is your chance to pick up our Spring 11 line before they hit stores.

7) It was a no-brainer to ask Peter Daily and The Royal Band to come back this year and play us some good Summertime tunes that would make Paul McCartney bob his head to a Randy Newman beat. For more information on The Royal Band, click here.

6) Rootbeer took a little hiatus for the past few months, and this time they’re back with the Juice! They’ll be performing new material from off their upcoming EP “Rootbeer on the Rocks” in collaboration with yous truly.

5) Be on the lookout for a special dance crew performance. We can’t say who yet. But you all know who came to our last party. Shhhhh….

4) My partners in crime, Denkym & Headright, will be playing the dopest music all night. This is not for you Hollywood, and especially not for you Hollyhood. Together, we form the WCB (Water Cooler Boys) and we will cool you down. Also, our own sales rep, and Superstar DJ ROIAL1 will be rocking the tables like it’s the pajama jammy jam from 1991.

3) It was no joke when King Kone rolled through Forge Studios all the ladies dropped their cups and skipped over to the ice cream truck. This year we’re going to drop the soft serve and take you back in day when it was 1991 when you slurpin’ on Cherry Bombs, Ninja Turtle Ice Creams, and Choco Tacos. We are proud to present the Baby Jules Ice Cream truck.

THIS YEAR WE HAVE…

2) At last year’s party, comedian Danny Cho said, “These are the best LA tacos I’ve ever had.” He was true indeed. We’re not changing anything. Free tacos for everyone. Hold the red sauce for me please.

1)  This year we have KETEL ONE as our alcohol sponsor. No joke, one of the finest Vodkas available. We’ll be mixin’ and mixin’ into the early morning!

SEE YOU ALL THERE!!! RSVP to info@myninjaclothing.com
