For those of you sleeping, the NY GIANTS and THE PATRIOTS are meeting again for the Super Bowl. This year, we teamed with our friends from Seoul Sausage, to bring you the SUPER SAUSAGE BOWL 2012. RSVP quickly, and get your tickets online before we run out! Here are some good reasons to spend Super Bowl Sunday with us.

10) REMEMBER IT’S A PARTY – Even if you don’t like football, we’re outfitting the FORGE just like we do for our annual ENDLESS SUMMER PARTY. It’s a great escape from Downtown LA. We have open areas, and multiple screens to view the game in HD!

Here’s a pic from our Endless Summer Party last year. Same spot, great vibes.

9) BEER PONG – Pong away with HITE Beer.

8) FOOTBALL SQUARES  - We got it goin on. Big prizes with our turnout!

7) FRIENDS FRIENDS FRIENDS

Hang out with friends.

Chill with the homies.

Chill with your homegirls.

Make some new friends.

6) #MEGABSS

MISTER ROCKS will be spinning before and after the game. Sorry Patriot fans, but New England hasn’t really done anything for the progression of music in pop culture. Music is gonna be dedicated to NYC!

5) SNOW MONKEY

@snowmonkeyice will be in the house to cool everyone off. After all, you can eat Seoul Sausage dogs, and drink all you want, but count on Snow Monkey to give you ribbons of ice with fresh fruit toppings. We haven’t tried it, but we heard it’s damn good.

4) NACHO BAR – Yeap. The guys at #SS wanted to give you more than just their traditional gourmet dogs, so they decided to create a nacho bar with all your favorite toppings. Look out for the #SS chili…

3) DID YOU SAY OPEN BAR?

Open bar sponsored by our favorite vodka, Ketel One.

Jinro and Hite Beer in the house.

2) SEOUL SAUSAGE

When you have open bar and #SS, there can be problems.

Fellow Angelenos, you’ve probably noticed the cold, damp weather outside. And if you’re like me, you probably tend to stay indoors on occasions such as this. Rather than spend my day sleeping, I prefer to use this time to enjoy some of my favorite things in life. With that said, here is my list of rainy day essentials that you might enjoy:

1. Music.

I like to make playlists for everything–waking up, driving, studying. It is only natural that I make one for rainy days as well. On the top of my list I have “Baby Please” by Andrew Figueroa Chiang and the Blazing Rays of the Sun. This soulful song makes feel feel all warm inside, and not just because of the band’s name. It makes me just want to curl up under a blanket and relax. Another song on this playlist is “Bed 42″ by Lady Danville, a band I’ve been in love with ever since I saw them perform a while back. Put this song on in the background while you lounge around the house.

Both of these songs have the a good measure of mellow with the perfect amount of energy that allows you to relax without inducing drowsiness. Great for rainy days indoors.

2. Books

I’m quite obsessed with reading right now, and I mean it. Currently, I’m juggling three very diverse books: A Clash of Kings (follow-up to A Game of Thrones of the A Song of Ice and Fire series), You Couldn’t Ignore Me if You Tried (about the legacy and importance of 80′s teen films), and The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay (2001 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction winner about two boys trying to break into the comic book industry during WWII). If you like medieval-fantasy action, 80′s pop culture, comic books, all three, or none of the above, you’re bound to enjoy these. They’re all that good. Really.

3. Snacks

I stumbled upon Hershey’s Candy Cane Kisses about a month ago and have been addicted since then. Each candy has the perfect amount of sweet white chocolate, refreshing peppermint, and crunchy sprinkles embedded in the heavenly concoction. Pair these up with some hot chocolate or coffee, and you’ve got yourself the perfect snack.

The holiday season is here, and everyone’s in the spirit to give. If you’re wondering what to buy for that special someone, I might suggest that you consider the gift of clothing–it doesn’t go bad, it’s practical, and, unlike technology, it won’t be replaced by an upgraded version of itself within the next few months.

And what could possibly be better than gifting loved ones with clothes? Giving simultaneously to both friends, family and a worthy cause. Let me elaborate… When you buy a shirt from This Shirt Helps, the good-hearted people at this company use a portion of the received money to provide funding and awareness for one of their charity partners. Upon checking out, you can choose to support either People (Pencils of Promise), Animals (ASPCA), the Planet (Plants with a Purpose), or Disaster Relief (Waves for Water).

While you may be wondering exactly how much of an impact an individual can actually make, the This Shirt Helps team helps put this in perspective. With the purchase of just one shirt, you can either provide one month of schooling, save one animal, plant three trees, or provide one month of clean drinking water. So, whether you buy one shirt or five, you’ll still make a difference in the world.

If you need even more convincing, just take a look at their store, where you’re sure to find some pretty fresh shirts for both yourself and others.

Confession: I was a little (a LOT) obsessed with ‘N Sync’s Home for the Holidays album back in the day. As embarrassing as it is, I still bring it back out every year. Now that it’s officially December, I find it appropriate to do so again. Admit it, you probably do the same. Maybe not. But there’s nothing wrong with enjoying (and perhaps laughing at) cheesy music videos, dated, baggy clothes, and Justin Timberlake’s bleached hair every now and then. Plus, it’s the holiday season. Feel free to indulge.
