STONG Breaking it in

“Do you know how t-shirts are made?”, asked Peter.

I hesitated and then sighed, “No.” I wanted to whip out some brilliant answer. Or at least “happen” to have a powerpoint stocked with information that I had made on a whim because I am an awesome, amazing, wonderful assistant.

“Okay. Today you will see.”

Little did I know what those words meant for me: a wild ride through Downtown Los Angeles to see and smell and hear the birthing process of a My Ninja! shirt. And lucky for you, I took my iPhone to document this trip! Here is a look into how we prepared for the upcoming MAGIC/S.L.A.T.E. convention by getting our samples ready:

Friends from up and coming brand FACE with Flynn Adam at the Loft sending us off on our adventure with a picture and t-shirts!

First stop– the American Apparel Wholesale Warehouse!

The AA Showroom. This is where it begins!

bread and butter. Or shirts.

SO thankful for this man and his cart because we had to park far away!

Drivin through LA

At the Printing company. Compare the size of the huge clothes printer versus the tiny paper printer on the right hand side.

Good thing I am not the designer for My Ninja!, or all my designs would look like this. And no one would buy shirts :[

Then after a hectic day of running back and forth due to wrong orders and deadlines, we ended the day calmly at a company that finishes all the t-shirts with these custom-made tags from Revolution Group. Whew!
